Haven’t found any experience like mine, with campsis radicans. It’s spreading under the soil, popping up all over the lawn and on the other side of the house. Is this unusual? How do I destroy it?

Not unusual at all. I have a problem with Campsis radicans on my property, too. For a plant so aggressive, I don’t look for any one silver bullet with which to eradicate it. Instead, I tend toward the multi-pronged approach: a little digging, a little smothering, a little Roundup….
