Landscape Design History - Claude Monet's Garden

Landscape design and landscape painting share more than just the word, landscape. Historically, in fact, landscape painting has had a great influence on landscape design. It's a classic case of life imitating art! Since today is the birthday of the great French Impressionist, Claude Monet (1840-1926), it's a good time to muse about Monet's influence on landscape design. And what better way than to enjoy a glimpse of Monet's garden and landscape paintings?
