Taming Brick Walls With Masonry Drills

To "come up against a brick wall" is a proverbial expression for being unable to proceed further in an endeavor. Occasionally, in landscaping, we literally "come against a brick wall" -- or, more broadly speaking, a masonry wall. That is, we wish we could attach window boxes, for instance, to a masonry wall, but find ourselves intimidated by its seemingly impenetrable nature.
