Plants for Shade Gardens
Monday July 4, 2005
One of the most common problems faced in landscaping is finding plants suitable for shady areas. From an aesthetic standpoint, you may have a wonderful landscape plan in mind, with great color schemes and interesting textures. Then, when it comes time to implement that plan, you run into a brick wall -- because you realize the landscape plants that you selected for their aesthetic merit don't grow well in shady areas. Don't fight it! Before purchasing plants, always learn first whether they will thrive in shade gardens or in sunny areas. My shade gardens resource will give you planting ideas for shady areas.
