This week's featured poster on the Landscaping Message Board describes his property as "a rectangle that butts up against the neighbor's back yard, so there is not any privacy. We plan on having a 6' fence put in, but not until next year." But another helpful poster comes along and suggests a hedge in lieu of a fence for privacy, as the former is less expensive.
