Lombardy Poplar Trees

Lombardy poplar trees have fallen somewhat out of favor. They are short-lived, being susceptible to a host of pests and diseases. Some are still drawn to them, though, as Lombardy poplar trees offer a sharply columnar form and unusual branching structure. Their branches start close to the ground and parallel the trunk. The fall foliage of Lombardy poplars is yellow.
