When a patio is out of date, what do you do? You have to decide between the costs of new patio construction or using patio plants (as in the photo at right) to dress up the old one. The decision largely comes down to personal tastes, but I offer some thoughts on the matter in this piece weighing the virtues of patio construction versus patio plants.
