Live Xmas Trees

Thursday December 13, 2007
Many people have become interested in buying live Xmas trees for their holiday decor and recycling them afterwards as landscape trees. Steve Nix notes that most live Xmas trees "are growing in a 'ball' of earth. This ball can be wrapped in burlap or set into a container or pot. The tree can be used very briefly as an indoor tree but must be replanted after Christmas Day." For more on live Xmas trees, see the full article from About's Forestry Guide.
