Weed Pictures

Monday March 24, 2008

"What is a weed? A plant whose virtues have not yet been discovered," scribed Ralph Waldo Emerson. I rather doubt, though, that Mr. Emerson would have had any inclination for weed-pulling, even if he had been able to browse through my weed pictures to identify a particular weed and found it thoroughly wanting in "virtue." But there's no doubt that discovering a weed's overlooked virtues could certainly save you considerable work: Your discovery would minimize the need for weed control, which is tedious and time-consuming.

But before you can make an intelligent decision as to whether to pull a weed or leave it alone, you have to arm yourself with some facts, beginning with the identity of the weed in question. View my weed pictures so that you can "know thine enemy." In some cases, you may decide it's not an enemy, at all.
