Tree Root Damage to Water Lines, Sewer Lines
In my prior blog post, I looked at how to improve a yard's soil, so that our plants have ground worth striking roots down into. But the ground under our feet is home to more than just roots; water lines or sewer lines may dwell there, too. Sometimes, they live in a happy coexistence under foot, but other times, tree root damage becomes an issue -- and who wants to have to deal with ruptured water lines or sewer lines?
Steve Nix discusses trees to avoid planting near water lines and sewer lines. On Page 2 of this article by About's Forestry Guide, some trees that are safe to plant near water lines and sewer lines are mentioned. Steve also points to this excellent University of Tennessee site that lists trees safe to plant where you're worried about such tree root damage.

if you have time and and any interest to comment on my blog i would aprishiate. the thing is i am coming from arts and computer graphic fields so i dont know much about biology. but i gathered some info on trees, sins i am interested in virtual tree generation and modeling.
