Clematis Wilt Control

Friday July 25, 2008
Clematis wilt control is necessitated by a fungus called Ascochyta clematidina. Plant diseases tend to be sneaky, and clematis wilt is no exception. Marie Iannotti warns that "the onset and spread of clematis wilt can be quick." But Marie has some good news, too (well, as good as any news can be about a plant disease, I suppose!), remarking that clematis vines can recover from clematis wilt, "because it does not attack their root system." Still, you need to take action if this fungus attacks your vines. About's Gardening Guide reveals that, fortunately, the steps you need to take for clematis wilt control are quite simple.
