By selecting the right trees, you can turn your landscape into an autumn color bonanza. To that end, I let Mother Nature speak for herself, through some of my best pictures of fall foliage. Of course, no other trees are as intimately associated with autumn and its color display as are maple trees....

Being a Canadian i of course love the Maples.
Sugar Maple is the best for fall color.I have a photo somewhere that will knock your socks off.
Ps…it’s an interesting fact that leaves don’t actually change colors.It’s just that the tree stops producing chlorophyll so we see the leaves the way they really are.
Thanks, Scotty. Yeah, it is, indeed, interesting that we owe the wondrous spectacle of fall foliage to the slowing down in the production of the chlorophyll that masks the non-green colors during spring and summer.
