Paper or plastic? Mac or PC? The choice between gas leaf blowers and electric leaf blowers may not have reached the epic proportions of those first two dueling duos, but it is, nevertheless, a choice you have to make when shopping for leaf blowers.
Keep in mind, however, that electric leaf blowers are more diverse than their gas counterparts. There are corded as well as cordless electric leaf blowers from which to choose; a cordless example is the Black & Decker NS118. So gas leaf blowers hold no monopoly when it comes to ease in portability.

I would say that backpack blowers are certainly in a class their own. Though maybe not so useful for the average homeowner, a residential property with a big yard would certainly benefit from a backpack blower. Gas would be the only option there…
