Bougainvillea Plants

Bougainvillea plants bougainvillea vine picture are great for that "Mediterranean look." But they will need periodic pruning, so they're not necessarily low-maintenance. Nor are they cold-tolerant. Folks in warm climates may be tempted to grow them close to swimming pools, but that's not really a good idea: they're too messy. Those caveats aside, bougainvillea plants are stunning and definitely a great selection for warm climates. If you live in the North, consider growing them in hanging pots for the summer to dress up a patio area.
