There is much confusion over the identification of poison ivy plants.
Some folks mistake another plant, Virginia creeper vine, for poison ivy. Others, with less experience in the woods, aren't even aware that traipsing through the brush could bring them into contact with poison ivy. Don't let yourself or your loved ones fall victim to poison ivy rash! Avoidance begins with proper identification of poison ivy. To that end, I offer pictures of poison ivy in this photo gallery.

thanks so much for the picture of poison Ivy. I’ve lived in the woods all my life and never knew what in looked like because I didn’t catch it. My brother got the rash the other day after never having it before either so now I’m always on the lookout.
Thanks for writing — glad I could be of assistance!
