Set the Landscape Ablaze With Autumn Blaze Maples

When you hear the words "fall color," perhaps you immediately think of a classic fall foliage tree -- one of the giants that grow wild in many parts of North America. But such large trees take a long time to mature, meaning they won't have much of an impact on your yard's fall color in the near future if purchased and planted when mere saplings.

A better choice is the Autumn Blaze maple tree. At maturity, Autumn Blaze maple trees will reach about 50 feet tall by 40 feet wide, with a rounded crown.

Along the same lines, don't forget that many shrubs are just as proficient at providing fall color as trees are -- and they're much less intrusive in the landscape. Here are some examples:
