Shopping for a book to buy as a gift for a gardening friend (or just for yourself)? If so, read my reviews to learn about two gardening books I recently read and found absorbing:
Both are especially appropriate as gifts for a holiday that comes during the last week of the year, when we tend to reflect on the 51 weeks that have preceded it. That's because both of these books are organized around the theme of "52 weeks in the garden."
For all that, these two books are very different; you'll want to read my reviews to determine which one would be more suitable for recipient X on your shopping list. Putting the comparison in rather crude terms here, I could say that An Ecology of Enchantment is for thinkers, while Landscape Lessons is for doers.
