Landscaping Word of the Day -- Aerobic

Yes, I know, when you hear the word, "aerobic," images of over-heated bodies probably come to mind. People in shorts jumping up and down, huffing and puffing and flailing their arms and legs. But if you want to make your plants thrive -- and especially if you want to do so organically -- you'd better pay attention to a more obscure meaning of the term, "aerobic."

Landscaping enthusiasts need to know about a little-known meaning of the word, "aerobic," one that is critical to generating compost. It is due to these aerobic saviors that leaves and other ingredients in the compost bin heat up, as the organic matter is cooked until it's ready to be served -- as the main course for your garden.
