Poisonous Plants in Your Landscaping - Spring Flowers

Tuesday February 24, 2004
Did you realize that some of our best-loved spring flowers contain poisonous elements? Included on the list are scilla, star of Bethlehem, lily of the valley, tulips, narcissus and daffodils. Check out this site on poisonous plants for more details. Even if you don't have small children playing around your landscaping and aren't concerned about the presence of poisonous plants, the links on this site are worth clicking, as they take you to some marvelous old drawings of plants. Anything to get you in that springtime mood!
