Flag Day and American Flag Etiquette

Today is Flag Day in the U.S. Since 9/11, many Americans have a new-found interest in flying their flag, and the flag is successfully competing for a spot in the landscape design of many homes. But national flags are not ordinary elements of lawn and garden decor, to be used in any way the homeowner likes. There is an American flag etiquette for displaying the flag that you should know about. If the American flag is to become part of your landscaping decor, take the time to learn about American flag etiquette.
