Flowering Trees for Desert Landscaping

Tuesday March 7, 2006
Denizens of desert areas often feel limited when it comes to plant choices. For instance, a reader recently asked me if there were any flowering trees for desert landscaping. John Begeman of the University of Arizona, addressing just such concerns, says that you're not limited to the "leafy, shade tree varieties" in desert landscaping. "In Tucson, you can have your shade; and flowers too!" See what examples John gives in this article on flowering trees in desert landscaping.
