Monet's Garden at Giverny
Monday June 19, 2006
Landscape design and landscape painting share more than just the word, "landscape." Historically, in fact, landscape painting has had a great influence on landscape design. It's a classic case of life imitating art! One such influence has been the great French Impressionist, Claude Monet (1840-1926), an artist who painted landscapes and was also active in landscape design.
