The versatility of vines is truly impressive, yet these Rodney Dangerfields
of the landscaping world get no respect. Heck, Jack the Giant-Killer had the specimen plant to outshine all specimen plants growing on his property, only to hack down his famous climbing vine at the end of the fairy tale! If you're serious about landscape design, though, you can appreciate how many different functions vines can serve. Perhaps no other category of plants has their versatility -- especially the climbing vines.
