Definition: Cement is the binding agent in the masonry products of concrete and mortar. Limestone is mined, crushed, mixed with other ingredients, and heated to cement. Often, when people say they are "mixing cement," they are really mixing concrete.

Examples:
They poured cement in rounded forms to build cement stepping stones for the garden.
