Form in Landscape Design

By , About.com Guide

Definition: In landscape design terminology, form is the shape of a plant. Upright, oval, columnar, spreading, broadly spreading, arching/fountain-shaped and weeping are all examples of form. Examples of plant form (as well as of plant texture) can be found in my photo gallery of plant form and texture pictures.
