Posting Pictures in the Landscaping Forum

xDavid Beaulieu

Okay, with the preliminaries out of the way, now let's get those photos into the Landscaping Forum!

There are 2 different cases in which participants in the forum will be using photos, potentially:

  1. Have a question about landscaping that you're asking in the forum? Using the appropriate photo can be a great way to make your question clearer to those who’ll be reading it.
  2. Have an answer (or comment) for someone else's question? Supplementing your text message with a photo is a great way to drive your point home.

In Case #1 (posting your own question), you'll need to click where it says, "New Post," which I’ve circled in the screenshot above. Note that there are actually 2 instances of "New Post." You can click either one, but the bottom one is specific to the folder (topic) that someone most recently posted to. By clicking the top New Post, you'll be given a choice as to which folder (topic) it will appear in. Note that you can also add a photo to a post you made previously, by clicking the Edit button on your message.

In Case #2 (answering someone else's question), you'll simply be clicking on the other person's post. But either way, the next step will be to look on your screen for something called, "Options" – which we'll investigate next….
