Werewolves are a natural for Halloween. Stephen Wagner, About.com Guide to the Paranormal, tells us about the classic Werewolf of Bedburg. I don't go in much for the paranormal, myself, but heck, if we can't bring it up at Halloween time, when can we?
Stephen tells us this story is based on a man named Peter Stubbe. It seems Peter was executed in the late 16th century in the town of Bedburg, Germany, after he had "terrorized a German village for years with unspeakably cruel crimes and murders."
