Name of Product and Model:
John Deere LA145 riding mower.Date of purchase:
I purchased this John Deere riding mower in May, 2008.My Review
Great riding mower, only it lacks independent suspension. Clean, even cut, easy maintenance, very durable. Easily mows about 2 acres. A bit of a hassle to drop the riding mower deck the first 1 or 2 times to replace and/or sharpen the 3 blades, but by this summer it only took about an hour, including sharpening. Solid steel frame improves stability, 22hp has plenty of power.
Regular lube and oil changes are a must (once at beginning of season, once about now, here in Oklahoma).
This riding mower uses more gas than I'd like. I use the same amount of diesel in my 40hp tractor for the same run time. But when the New Holland wears out, I'll get a John Deere riding mower!
