How do people build garden ponds? Well, water features are almost as diverse as the people who make them. Some of you install fountains in your garden ponds, but some prefer a more "natural" look. The terminology "garden pond" suggests that aquatic plants will be present, but I've seen plenty of magnificent garden ponds (in the broadest sense) that lack plants altogether. And what about fish? Fish can be fun to watch, but not everyone (especially in the North) wants to be bothered with them.
